"These days, people don't have time to go shopping," says store owner Catherine Trewick. As the owners of a plant nursery, Catherine and her husband Gary are used to catering to the gift industry, and their new site is a natural extension of this. According to Catherine, every item was looked over carefully for quality prior to its addition to the site. "I don't want to have products just to fill the page -- I look for what I like, and I discard what I don't like," she explains, going through the catalog's many offerings. The variety of the items gives the store a unique touch, as well. "There are healthy items, like fruit -- I'm a health-conscious person," says Catherine. "There are also flowers. I'm a person who likes flowers in my house. I believe children should learn so we have the Baby Einstein stuff on there. Every day I'm adding; I'm trying to sort the nice items, and I'm not trying to rush and put just anything up on the page."

Catherine is also a big believer in good customer service, which is why she opened her business blog at www.OnlyTheBestGiftBasketsBlog.com. "I'm a big believer in mind power, so I believe you should assist others and open their minds to what is out there," she explains. "I intend to use my blog to display my products, to get feedback, to do articles on gift-giving and that sort of thing, and I also want to use it as information for helping people to get ahead. Like how I've started this business -- I want to encourage other people to do the same. This is a new era for me, and I find it very exciting and positive, because I think gift-giving encourages people. People like to be appreciated."

In the future, Catherine says she'll be expanding into other diverse areas with future web sites. "We'd like to branch out to other products, and after this I think we're going to look into health food," she says enthusiastically. "We have a web site we're doing now called Natural Health Drink, and we're going to go into that. That's my personality -- I like nice things, I like good health, and I like to work hard."
